The fish knives, rarely used any longer, have a notch on their blades to remove bones from fish on the plate. All pieces will fit tightly but neatly in the vintage oak flatware chest, with the exception of the steak knives and the soup ladle. The flatware chest is in good condition and has a burgundy felt interior with no stains, discolorations, or signs of any wear. The Grand Opening on Park Avenue in New York was October 1, 1931.
