Christofle Malmaison vintage silver plated tray. I believe made post 1980’s as the stamp looks to be the later variant. Stamped on both handles and on the tray itself. Tray measures 31.5 cms x 42 cms. 55 cms x 31.5 cms including handles and weighs 2.2 kilos. Silver plate over brass. Makers stamp on both handles and the tray itself. Condition Notes: The tray has usual fine scratches associated with usual wear, however there are deeper scratches in several areas but scratches not so deep that they have reached the underlying brass that the tray is made from. Please view the pictures carefully as there are several areas where this kind of scratching may be seen. There are also two light but visual dents to the base. Again I have tried to show these in pictures 1, 10 and 11. Also worth noting is slight ripple extending about 3 cms to the edge and loss to the plating to the edge seen in picture 12. This is a used vintage tray that has marks, please look at the images using the supersize facility. 99p with no reserve on the understanding it is bought as seen. This tray is very presentable still and will look better with further cleaning and polishing. Possibly a good candidate for refinishing the Silver Plating.
